The Hand Therapists provide treatment when surgery is not indicated, and treatment to help to speed up post-operative progress; the Therapists help to achieve rapid progress after surgery and splints are custom made by the Therapist, when they are required. |

Dr Hogg is a Consultant Radiologist based at the Wessex Nuffield MRI and CT Unit, and the Royal Hampshire County Hospital. Dr Hogg has a special interest in upper limb radiology. |

Dr Buchanan is a Rheumatologist based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital and Sarum Road Hospital. He initiates investigations and medical treatments for those conditions where surgery is not required and also performs nerve conduction studies - EMGs (electromyelogram) help to diagnose nerve disorders and to localise areas of nerve compression such as in the carpal tunnel syndrome. |
